Sintra - Guincho - Cabo da Roca



The route starts at the hotel, where it is installed, then follow up to Sintra, the old road once used by the kings of Portugal as a holiday residence.
This picturesque location, source of inspiration for poets and artists in the nineteenth century was known as the capital of Romanticism.
World Heritage Site of UNESCO, with its monuments, its beautiful and where Serra is a living example of stunning natural landscape, with rich and varied flora, sourced from around the world and that here was developed taking advantage of the unique microclimate of this region.
We went up the mountain, where we will arrive to the Pena Palace, in times past a Franciscan convent, then cross the Natural Park of Sintra - Cascais, and reach a local, dubbed as the "place of peace" - the westernmost point of continental Europe - thence to the windy beach of Guincho, famed for its fine white sand and place for the practice of extreme sports, where we will stop for lunch, where you have at your disposal a selection of signature dishes of this region, using the local ingredients: the famous fresh fish and various seafood.
